Anyone who has been around Borommaratchachonni Road Soi 119 in TaweeWattana area may have noticed “Buddha Art” located magnificently. The Buddha Art is a part of is part of Dharma Council Foundation and Ban LeuTham Institute. It was established to hold exhibitions of Buddhist arts. It is considered as one of the most beautiful and valuable Buddhist art galleries.
Buddha Art Gallery is a 4-storey building officially opened to public on 2nd December 2013. It was established to hold exhibitions of Buddha Art, Buddha Tham, Tripitaka Study, Dhamma presentation, and meditation for those who believe in Buddhism. There are also some beautiful images of Lord Buddha’s history, Dharma books, and sourvenirs. Buddha Art Gallery is open every day.
After going inside, you will find the book zone with a small corner for reading and drinking coffee. On the left hand side, there are souvenirs and temporary exhibitions of Lord Buddha’s history consisting of 32 images which are rare these days. Further inside is the entrance to Buddha Art Gallery where visitors have to pay entrance fee which is not expensive. During this, Buddha Art Gallery is open for only 2 storeys of which the first one is for exhibition changing every 6 months.
The exhibition content in each floor is as follows.
1st Floor: after entering, the visitor will see a statue of His Majesty the King which is difficult to see and is a collection of Artist Prawet Kingkadapa. It is part of the exhibition called “Rom Pho Thong Kong Pan Din”, which is a eulogistic exhibition on the occasion of 86th anniversary of the King’s birthday 5th December 2013. The content is H.M. the King’s history, work, and projects. In addition, the content is also about the history of Dharma Sapa, Buddha Art Gallery establishment, which is part of Dharma Sapa and Ban LeuDharm foundations. There is also a zone for practicing some Buddhist activities, Dharma presentation, meditation, and other activities of Buddhists who have come to use the area.


2nd Floor: There is permanent exhibition of Lord Buddha’s history showing 22 images with a modern painting technique called Digital Art Painting. These pictures are beautiful with some values of Buddhism printed on high quality canvas in a delicate and beautiful design. This set of Lord Buddha’s history images is well-known and collected by many people both in Thailand and other countries. These pictures are the work of Artist Krisana Suriyakan taking more than 4 years to be completed. The last part of the exhibition is Tripitaka study room which is open for visitors to read, study, analyze, and study Tripitaka on Saturdays-Sundays at this Buddha Art Gallery.
